2 AUG 2009 GO APE!
Salle Ursa Summer Day Out 2009, Go Ape adventure Park at the Wyre Forest. We met up at the forest and after a safety introduction we sprung into action! Swung like monkeys for a few hours and then enjoyed a nice pub lunch. :)

COMPETITIONS
Athletes and volunteer officials can take part in club, county, regional and national competitions. Salle Ursa Fencing Club organises two national competitions every year: the Coventry Open (senior) and the LPJS Coventry Sabre (under 17) and several local competitions: Challenge Day (under 13), Warwickshire Senior County Championships and Inter-school competitions. The next competition is the Coventry Open, held on 30-31/08/2010 at the Moat House Leisure Centre. Download the entry form

Generally there are two events each year, a summer day out and a Christmas party. At the next social we are going to learn target shooting (as part of Modern Pentathlon) on 07/08/2010 in Wolverhampton. Book your place for the next social

Fencing camps improve your blade skills and fitness (competitive and achievement awards based training in the UK and abroad). The next camp is held on 28-29/08/2010 in Warwick. FENCING CAMP IN LYON, FRANCE
Salle Ursa fencers visited the friendly club of S E Lyon for a week in 2006 spring. We took part in training twice a day: had morning sessions with their excellent coaches and fenced their club fencers in the evenings. We also enjoyed a day-trip to the beautiful city of Annecy.
